Script is disabled Possibilities with Divi Visual Builder | My Golly Wow
On last week’s blog, we talked about Divi layouts and how to quickly create a website using them. Now we will be talking about Divi Builder mainly the Divi visual builder. The Divi Builder is a “drag and drop” WordPress page builder that allows you to construct your pages from top to bottom by combining various structural elements. The Divi Builder has three main structural elements that are used to build all of your pages, and those are sections, rows, and modules. Sections are your largest organizational element, and they are used to organize rows of columns, and inside of each row, you can add modules. Modules are your content elements like text, images, sliders, galleries, etc. It is the hierarchy of every Divi Builder page.
The Divi Builder comes in two forms: The standard “Back-end Builder” and the front-end “Visual Builder.” Both interfaces allow you to build the same types of websites with the same content elements and design settings. The only difference is the interface.

The Back-end Builder is inside of the WordPress dashboard, and it can be accessed with the other WordPress settings. It replaces the standard WordPress post editor which is great for making quick changes while you are on the dashboard.

The Front-end Builder, on the other hand, is easy to use which has instant preview where you can see how the website looks while you are making changes to it. It is like painting where you can see how it looks while you are still doing it. It saves a considerable amount of time since you can already see your changes without having to preview the website.

Let’s get started on how to work on front-end visual builder. First, you have to log in as an admin user to your WordPress website. Once logged in, visit the page of the website you want to edit. On the WordPress header, you can click on “Enable Visual Builder,” and you would notice that it will still show the same page that you have.

When you hover over the elements of the page, you would see a menu popping up, and those are the settings that you can change while you are still in the preview of the site. You can also highlight text and change it on the fly, like changing the text itself, the color, or the font that is used.

These are only the basics of what you can do on Visual Builder, explore more about it and you will be able to create a perfect website.
